JH and JV Football Game is tonight (9/8/25) at Pocola. JH starts at 6pm and JV at 7pm. JH bus will leave at 5 and JV bus will leave at 6.
The Spiro Johnson-O'Malley Parent Committee will hold their first meeting of the school year on September 24, 4:00 p.m., in the Upper Elementary Library. Any interested parents of Spiro Public Schools JOM students are welcome to attend.

Seniors will take the traditional formal poses and casual dressed portraits.
There is a $20 sitting fee for all seniors. Cash or check (made out to Heritage Portraits) due the day of pictures.

Spiro Public Schools is seeking a full time afterschool program director of the 21st Century Learning Center grant for the 2025-2026 school year. The duties of the after school program director will be as follows: scheduling, staffing, program compliance, continuing education, and student management. A bachelor’s degree, Oklahoma teaching certificate, and leadership experience are preferred. Spiro Upper Elementary Flag Boys Ruger Lewis, Daltyn Allen, Tucker Coffey, Luke Partain, and Brayson Gray are pictured with local VFW members Buddy Jones and Robert Carter. These students will be responsible for raising and lowering the American flag and the Oklahoma flag throughout the school year. The boys were trained to fold and raise the flags correctly and to handle them with care and respect.
