Spiro Trophies and Memorabilia Available
The Bulldog Media team has spent the last two years digitally cataloging over 400 trophies located in the cafeteria with the trophy and corresponding team/group picture. The dates of these trophies range as early as the 1920s, with the majority of them dating from the 1950s to the 1980s. This digital catalog will allow anyone with internet access to enjoy the rich history of these artifacts and share them with family. Several trophies will be kept for in-person viewing in the new trophy case. We would like to give you the opportunity to acquire some of the trophies as memorabilia for you or your family. A complete list of the trophies can be viewed at the attached link. If you see any trophy you would like to have, you can email the trophy title and year to rmaynard@spiro.k12.ok.us. We will check to see if it isn’t a trophy we have decided to keep for in-person display. You will be contacted if it is available, with a date when it can be picked up. In the event that there are multiple requests for a specific trophy, a name will be drawn. We will take requests for the trophies until July 21.
Trophy request email: rmaynard@spiro.k12.ok.us.

(These are only the trophies located in the cafeteria. There are many more trophies to be documented in other trophy cases around the campus. We will have other opportunities to request those trophies at a later date.)

Spiro High School is proud to recognize students Coltin Bryant and Josie West for their participation in the 2026 Oklahoma Youth Leadership Forum (YLF), held on the campus of the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma in Chickasha. This year marked the 23rd annual YLF event.
Coltin attended as a first-year delegate, while Josie returned as a second-year leader, demonstrating her desire to help others.
The Oklahoma Youth Leadership Forum is an intensive educational and motivational program designed to empower students with disabilities to become leaders in their schools, communities, and future careers. Throughout the week, students participated in both small and large group activities, developed personal leadership plans, and explored resources available to help them achieve their goals.
Participants heard from inspiring guest speakers on topics including disability rights, technological innovations, community resources, and the legislative process. They also had the opportunity to meet state and national leaders and visit the Oklahoma State Capitol to engage with government officials.
YLF encourages students with disabilities to embrace their identities with pride while developing the skills and confidence needed to lead well-rounded, successful lives. The program provides a supportive environment where students can learn from one another, celebrate shared experiences, and build lasting connections.
Congratulations, Coltin and Josie! We are proud of your accomplishments.
