This national honor is awarded to a select percentage of schools whose yearbooks exemplify superior theme development, coverage, design, and photography.
The online Gallery of Excellence highlights outstanding yearbooks at workshops and training events and serves as an inspiration resource for other yearbook classrooms around the country.

Jh Softball Game (9/11/25):
On tonight’s game Sallisaw is requesting for our fans to park over by the softball field due to Sallisaw band practice. They will be using the parking lot.
Friday Night Football Game at Pocola (9/12/25)@7pm: Please read and follow the Pocola Public Schools Athletic Facilities Guidelines
JH and JV Football Game is tonight (9/8/25) at Pocola. JH starts at 6pm and JV at 7pm. JH bus will leave at 5 and JV bus will leave at 6.
The Spiro Johnson-O'Malley Parent Committee will hold their first meeting of the school year on September 24, 4:00 p.m., in the Upper Elementary Library. Any interested parents of Spiro Public Schools JOM students are welcome to attend.

Put on your best smiles and get ready for picture day September 11th.
🎓 Seniors will be taking their pictures in the HS Safe Room from 8:15-1:00.
Seniors will take the traditional formal poses and casual dressed portraits.
There is a $20 sitting fee for all seniors. Cash or check (made out to Heritage Portraits) due the day of pictures.
We can't wait to capture your best smiles!📸
