Oklahoma's Promise offers qualified Oklahoma students an opportunity to earn a scholarship for college tuition. Requirements are student must be an Oklahoma resident, enrolled in the 8th, 9th, or 10th grade, and the parents' federal adjusted gross income must not exceed $55K per year.

Elections for the Indian Education and JOM Parent Committees of Spiro Public Schools will be held at 6 PM on September 29, 2020 at the high school library.
Starting Sept 1st the Federal Government has allowed all students to eat free in our cafeteria regardless of income eligibility. Please encourage your student(s) to take advantage of this limited program. These funds are limited and are expected to only last up till Christmas, if they do not end sooner. LUNCH APPLICATIONS ARE STILL REQUIRED REGARDLESS OF THIS PROGRAM.

Senior Pictures will be taken on Thursday, Sept 3. Distance Learning/Spiro Virtual Academy Seniors need to email Mrs. Maynard for an appointment. Any other questions can also be emailed rmaynard@spiro.k12.ok.us
For distance learning or Spiro Virtual academy students, the high school safe room will be open from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm. Parents can bring their students to the outside safe room door. The students' temperatures will be checked and then allowed in (if no fever) to take their school photos. Parents will not be allowed in the safe room. If students cannot take a picture this day, they will have the opportunity to take it at a later date.
School pictures for grades Pre-K to 11th grades are scheduled for Tuesday, Sept 1.
JOM school supply cards will be handed out today. and if the JOM child is enrolled in Distance learning or Virtual Academy they can meet Amanda Davis this Thursday from 3-5 p.m. at the Baptist church under the breeze way.

Any virtual or distance learning student wanting breakfast/lunch needs to email spiro.virtual@gmail.com by 9 a.m. each morning. Meals can be picked up at the back of the cafeteria between 12:30-1:00 each day.

Learning Packets can be picked up tomorrow, Mon. 4/6 between 8 am and 3 pm at the office of your student. Please call the office when you arrive. DO NOT LEAVE YOUR VEHICLE. Packet will be brought out.
Attention all high school students 9-12 grades: Please check your school email and fill out a form for School Lunch Delivery. If you did not receive an email for it, please email Mrs. Maynard rmaynard@spiro.k12.ok.us and she will try to make sure you get one. We need this filled out by Friday.
If your family is in a situation where no one is available to pick up food packages during the scheduled mid-day times (parents working for example), food packages may also be picked up at the school cafeteria between 7:00 a.m. and 8:00 a.m.
