Spiro's 4th and 5th grade gifted & talented students traveled to Kiamichi Technology Center in Stigler on Jan. 29th to compete in the Stigler Academic Meet.  Students took paper/pencil tests in Math, Language Arts, Science, and Social Studies.  The students competed against students in their grade level from many other school districts.  Students that won awards are,
Front row:  Emerald Baxter (1st-Lang. Arts, 4th-Soc. Studies, 5th-Science), Olivia Abdullah (2nd-Math, 2nd-Lang. Arts), Izabella Zaragoza (5th-Math, 6th-Science), and Jossalin Carlile (6th-Math).
